The Cancer Center at Presbyterian offers:

- Medical oncology services

- Radiation oncology provided by M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Radiation Treatment Center at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital

- Specialty surgical capability for general, orthopedic, neurosurgical, urological, colorectal and gynecological oncology cases

- Hematology services

- PET Scan

- Palliative Care consult service

- Dedicated oncology in-patient unit in the hospital

- Multi-disciplinary team with specialist consultation services immediately available

- Dedicated clinical social worker

- Stem cell transplant, aphaeresis services, and high dose chemotherapy

- Presbyterian Cancer Treatment Center Physicians are fully credentialed to use New Mexico's only Gamma Knife treatment facility

- Tumor Board Referral so that individual patient cases can be reviewed by a number of specialties for second opinions on treatment options

- Active participation in and support for the National Cancer survivorship movement Plus, a wide range of support services are available through referral, including:

– Counseling

– Pastoral care

– Physical therapy and rehabilitation

– Home health care

– Hospice

– Financial assistance

– Community/educational services Presbyterian's Oncology Program has a three year accreditation by the American College of Surgeon Commission on Cancer and provides a full range of specialty services
