Mitchell Binder, MD

Mitchell Binder, MD is the Lead Physician and Medical Director of the Cancer Program at Presbyterian. 

Dr. Binder is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology.

Dr. Binder hails from Pennsylvania.  He received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine and completed his Oncology and Hematology training at the University of Colorado. 

Dr. Binder has over 30 years of experience in Oncology and Hematology. He joined Presbyterian as the Medical Director of the Cancer program in 2007.  Prior to that, he served as director of Oncology at Lovelace. 

He also spent time at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in Denver/Littleton Colorado

Dr. Binder’s Philosophy: The Patient and the patient’s family are entitled to be treated with compassion and respect, coupled with detailed medical knowledge and expertise

Dr. Binder enjoys: Spending time with his family and his golden retriever – Marley. He also enjoys alpine skiing in the Rockies and good literature.
