Amit Garg, MD

Amit Garg, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Radiation Treatment Center at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital.
He earned a graduate degree in biomedical ethics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and trained at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He has authored several publications in the medical community in diverse areas including breast, prostate, lung, cervical, Hodgkins lymphoma, and esophageal cancers.
Dr. Garg's current area of research interest involves the treatment of cancer with a highly specialized type of radiation therapy called Stereotactic Radiation Therapy for lung tumors as well as metastatic disease in the brain, spine, and elsewhere.
