Nursing/Supportive Care Staff

Cancer Center Staff

Compassionate and Specialized Cancer Care Providers

The oncology nurses at the Cancer Center at Presbyterian are vital components of our cancer care team.  They are specially trained and skilled in giving chemotherapy and nursing care to cancer patients.  Our nurses provide a wide range of services at our centers and work in consultation with our physicians to coordinate treatments, manage the plan of care, and provide education.

In addition to helping patients with their care, comfort, and healing, they also help families and caregivers deal with the anxieties, uncertainties, and misconceptions that are often a part of the cancer experience.

The Cancer Center at Presbyterian also has an extensive supportive care staff including navigators, a registered dietician, social workers, cancer rehab therapists, and a financial advocate. We participate in clinical trials offered through the New Mexico Cancer Care Alliance and have staff focused on offering these options as appropriate.
