Acequia Madre Society

A Living Connection
The Acequia Madre Society recognizes individuals for including the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation in their will and estate planning. Any revocable or irrevocable commitment qualifies you for membership, whether it's a bequest (naming us as a beneficiary in your will or living trust) or some other arrangement. Members are recognized on the donor wall and in publications, and are invited to special events. Recognizing your involvement can encourage others to give. If you want complete anonymity, your involvement will be kept completely confidential.
Early settlers of New Mexico relied on man-made ditches to channel much-coveted water to tracts of land where it was needed. The main ditch was known as the acequia madre, or mother ditch. Just as this network provided a vital resource for the benefit of countless people, Acequia Madre Society members are helping support high-quality health care for future generations.
