The Office of Medical Staff Affairs under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer - CDS:
- Organizes and coordinates Medical Staff activities
- Arranges for the review, analysis, and evaluation of medical care in the hospital facilities of Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque
- Serves as ex-officio members of all standing. Special committees of the Medical Staff are charged with implementing Board of Directors and Medical Staff directives
- Assists the formal Medical Staff organization in the oversight of the quality of Medical and Dental care within these hospital facilities under the ultimate authority of the Board of Directors
- Facilitates the Medical Staff organization in governance, monitoring clinical performance, appropriate credentialing, communication, educational endeavors, and participation in administrative issues
