Local Economic Impact
The construction of Rust Medical Center and its Physicians Office Building brought a total of 2,500 construction jobs to Rio Rancho over two years. At the peak of building there were 500 concurrent jobs on-site.
Presbyterian Rust Medical Center
We have more than 400 permanent employees, with a $50 million annual payroll. The American Hospital Association estimates a 2-to-1 return on every hospital dollar invested. After Presbyterian’s investment in Rio Rancho, several other businesses have committed to build facilities in the area near the new hospital.
