Rio Rancho Medical Center Design Phase

In an effort to "design in" everything we know about patient safety, efficiency and more, we invited our caregivers to view "mock up" patient rooms. These were spaces that were dressed to look like full sized versions of, for example, an Emergency, Exam, or Intensive Care Room, with actual clinical equipment and furniture. 

This made it easier for staff members to visualize the new spaces and to give input on what is important in a patient care room. Now we are using this information to make better decisions about the room design.
