Lincoln County Medical Center Board of Trustees

Because we are owned by the communities we serve, we are governed and guided by community leaders who volunteer to serve on our board of trustees. These fellow New Mexicans willingly donate their time, energy and expertise to improving the health of patients, members and the communities we serve.

 

Gary Mitchell, JD

Gary Mitchell is a defense attorney who is well-known throughout the state of New Mexico. He has served on the Lincoln County Medical Center Board of Trustees for nearly 30 years and has been chair for more than two decades.

Scott Shafer
Scott Shafer

Scott Shafer is retired from the banking industry and serves as the Vice Chair of the Lincoln County Medical Center Board of Trustees as well as the chair of the Board's Finance Committee.

Mr. Shafer lives in Carrizozo and also serves on the Carrizozo Advisory Board.

 

 

Chris Robinson, MD
Robinson

Dr. Robinson is an Internist and has served Lincoln County's Internal Medicine needs for the past two decades.  He is a former Lincoln County Medical Center Chief of Staff.

Al Santos
Santos

Al Santos lives in Alto and is the Administrator of Lincoln County Medical Center. His background includes hospital administration, creating and implementing wellness programs and managing insurance plans.

Mack Bell

Mack Bell is a rancher and serves on the Corona Advisory Board in addition to his service on the Lincoln County Medical Center Board of Trustees. 

Greg Haussler

Greg Haussler is a retired conservationist who lives in Capitan.

Carole Lochhead has been a member of Lincoln County Medical Center’s Auxiliary since 2007 and currently serves as its President. She was a real estate broker in Texas for twenty years, served as the bookkeeper in her family’s cattle business, and was active in her Parent-Teacher Association and homeowners’ association, serving terms as President of both organizations.

Ms. Lochhead moved to Ruidoso in 1999 and serves her community through volunteer service for Lincoln County Medical Center as well as the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Posse.
 

Margie Morales
Morales

Margie Morales works as a Legal Assistant for a Ruidoso law firm.

Alberto Robles
Robles

Alberto Robles is a realtor for a Ruidoso real estate company.  He is active in the community and is a past president of the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce.
