Presbyterian Central New Mexico Community welcomes Dick Teater

Presbyterian Central New Mexico Community welcomes Dick Teater to its Board of Trustees. Presbyterian is New Mexico’s only private, not-for-profit healthcare system and its board members serve as uncompensated volunteers.

Teater is President, CEO and owner of Big J Enterprises, LLC, a specialty mechanical contractor based in Albuquerque, NM. He is a Des Moines, Iowa native who graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served as an officer in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps for seven years.

He earned a master’s degree in Construction Management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN; and spent more than 20 years in the international engineering and construction industry rising to Group President at Fluor Corporation.

Since moving to Albuquerque 10 years ago, he has been active on boards of the Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Vistage CEO peer group, ACI, and AJCC.
