Free Flu Shots at Presbyterian Healthy Lifestyles Expo

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Presbyterian Healthcare Services will provide free flu shots to those over 18 at the Presbyterian Healthy Lifestyles Expo on Friday, November 2 & Saturday, November 3 at the Albuquerque Convention Center from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Presbyterian has purchased more than 4,000 flu vaccine doses reserved for the Healthy Lifestyles Expo at the cost of $44,000 and will be offering flu shots at no charge - with paid admission - for those over 18. Admission for the Presbyterian Healthy Lifestyles Expo is $5.00 at the door, with all proceeds benefiting the Silver Horizons Foundation. Presbyterian donates the flu shots in addition to its support of Silver Horizons.

The Presbyterian Healthy Lifestyles Expo will be held Friday, November 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Large groups are encouraged to come after 1:00 p.m. to avoid the rush in the morning. In 2006, Presbyterian administered more than 2,300 flu shots to those who attended the event.
