Presbyterian Medical Group Names McGrail Executive Medical Director

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Presbyterian Medical Group (PMG) is pleased to announce that Michael McGrail, MD, MPH, has been named executive medical director. In this role, McGrail will lead Presbyterian's 580 member medical group with oversight of clinical quality decisions, patient care and more.
Prior to joining Presbyterian, McGrail served as the associate medical director for the primary care division of HealthPartners Medical Group in Minneapolis, MN. He has more than 15 years of experience in physician group settings. In addition, he has continued to practice medicine throughout his administrative career, and plans to do so at Presbyterian.
McGrail earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School and his master's degree at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. He completed his occupational medicine fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University and a family medicine residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center in Washington, DC.
