Presbyterian Presents the Inaugural Día de Salud Celebration

Presbyterian Healthcare Services (PHS) and the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) Foundation are pleased to introduce the inaugural Día de Salud (Day of Health) celebration, which will include numerous free health care screenings and fun activities for the entire family.

WHEN:   Saturday, April 26, 2008
             11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The aim of the Día de Salud celebration is to provide free health care services to the community, which will include blood pressure screenings, diabetes screenings, dementia and Alzheimer’s screenings and workshops, glaucoma screenings, HIV screenings, 200 child immunizations, substance abuse treatment services, Medicaid enrollment, UNM Care enrollment and much more. In partnership with the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation, this celebration is made possible through the generosity of the Presbyterian.

An added bonus to the celebration is the "Ride to the Center". The 10 mile, 22 mile or 54 mile challenge bike ride will benefit the NHCC Foundation. Cyclists will be taken through various parts of the Duke City.
