Presbyterian Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Margot Ellard, CNM to its family practice in Los Lunas.

Ellard is a licensed certified nurse practitioner and midwife and with extensive experience. In Los Lunas, she will be charged with various aspects of women’s care including full scope midwifery, obstetrical and gynecological care and family planning for women of all ages.

“We are excited to start providing midwifery and women’s health services to individuals and families in Valencia County as Margot extends her reach of care to the community,” said Kerry Slater, practice administrator of PMG Los Lunas.

In December 2007, Ellard joined Presbyterian Medical Group in Albuquerque as a certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner. She began working at the Presbyterian Los Lunas Clinic in June 2008.

Ellard earned her bachelor’s of science in nursing and master’s of science in nursing degrees from the University of Texas in San Antonio. Her midwifery certification was obtained at the University of Texas at Galveston. After practicing medicine as a midwife and certified nurse practitioner for almost a decade in Texas and Massachusetts, Ellard relocated her career to New Mexico and joined Presbyterian.
