Volunteers Prepare Packages for Thousands of Daffodils

Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation will hold its 25th Annual Daffodil Days sale, presented by First Community Bank, March 13-14. More than 600 community volunteers will sell in excess of 180,000 daffodils over these two days. Proceeds of the sale benefit Presbyterian’s Home Healthcare and Hospice, which helps provide ongoing support to patients in need of basic necessities, such as food, medication, funeral expenses and utilities.

Friday and Saturday sales sites include Bank of Albuquerque, First Community Bank, Flying Star, La Montanita Co-op, Presbyterian Hospital, Presbyterian Kaseman, Presbyterian Northside, Presbyterian Healthplex, Presbyterian Medical Center Rio Rancho, Satellite Coffee and Sunflower Market and Whole Foods. A bunch of ten daffodils sells for $6. Vases are sold for $3, and daffodil arrangements – ten daffodils, greens and baby’s breath in a vase – are sold for $15.
