Homecare and Hospice Patients Benefit from Flower Sale

Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation will hold its 23rd annual Daffodil Days, presented by First Community Bank, from March 9-11. Members of the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation board and volunteers will prepare and package thousands of daffodils on Wednesday, March 7 from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m at 4210 Hawkins Street NE
More than 600 community volunteers will sell in excess 180,000 daffodils over a three day period. Proceeds of the sale benefit Presbyterian's not-for-profit Home Healthcare and Hospice services, which helps provide ongoing support to patients in need of basic necessities.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday sales sites include Bank of Albuquerque, First Community Bank, Flying Star, Jeanne's Gifts and Cosmetics, La Montanita Co-op, Presbyterian Hospital, Presbyterian Kaseman, Presbyterian Northside, Presbyterian Healthplex, Presbyterian Medical Center Rio Rancho, Satellite Coffee, and Wild Oats. A bunch of ten daffodils sells for $5, a price unchanged for 22 years. Vases are sold for $3. Daffodil arrangements -- ten daffodils, greens and baby's breath in a vase -- are sold for $15.
