PMG Belen Earns ACR Accreditation

BELEN, NM - Presbyterian Medical Group in Belen has been awarded a three year term of accreditation in its mammography program by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
The American College of Radiology accreditation is awarded to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the medical group. Evaluations are conducted by board certified physicians and medical physicians who are experts in mammography.
"We are honored to be among those in the nation recognized by the American College of Radiology as we offer a mammography program that provides patients more access to quality care," said Paula Sedillo, mammographer of the Belen Presbyterian Medical Group.
The ACR is a national organization serving more than 32,000 diagnostic-interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, and nuclear medicine and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of medical imaging and radiation oncology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
