ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Pete Clarkson, Chief Operations Officer of Presbyterian Salud, announced that Presbyterian Salud will be opening two regional offices, one in Santa Fe and another in Las Cruces. Presbyterian will host a Job Fair in each area. The Santa Fe Job Fair will be Friday, October 17th from 9 am to 4 pm at the sight of the new office, 906 St. Francis Drive. The Las Cruces Job Fair will be held at the Best Western Mission Inn at 1765 South Main in the Hidden Forest Banquet Room on Friday, October 24th from 12 noon to 5 pm and Saturday, October 25th from 9 am to 4 pm.

"We feel the best people to serve communities are the individuals who really know the community first hand, and we are committed to supporting local economies by supplying job opportunities," Clarkson said. "We hope to hire around 47 or 50 new employees to serve Salud members from our two new offices. In fact, we welcome qualified applicants who are currently receiving government financial assistance and are looking for work."

Salud is the name for the new partnership between Medicaid and Health Maintenance Organizations. Presbyterian has been caring for New Mexicans health needs for 89 years. Presbyterian Salud serves around 55% of New Mexicans enrolled in Salud. Presbyterian Salud is about 60,000 members strong and plans to grow to nearly 110,000 members with Salud enrollment Phases III and IV next year.

Positions with Presbyterian Salud are available in the following departments: Clerical Support, Member Services, Provider Relations, Case Management, and Prior Authorization/Utilization Management. The Presbyterian Salud Training Program lasts for about 6 weeks, so hiring will take place immediately.
