Domestic Partners

Domestic Partner coverage is provided to those who meet the following criteria: two unmarried individuals in a long-term relationship (Minimum 12 months) with a mutual commitment of responsibility to each other's welfare and with shared financial responsibilities.

Healthcare Spending Accounts

Many of our employees have taken advantage of this pre-tax benefit.  You may set aside dollars from each paycheck to help pay for healthcare expenses.  Since allowable expenses are paid for with pre-tax dollars, it's like getting a discount of 24-30% on these expenses.

Dependent Daycare Spending Accounts

Dependent Daycare Spending Accounts help you pay for certain day care expenses for your children or other eligible dependents, with pre-tax dollars.  This only covers dependent day care that is provided while you work and while your spouse (if you're married) works or attends school full time.

Long-Term Disability

Presbyterian provides Long-Term Disability Insurance at no cost for benefit eligible employees.  This plan offers income protection if you are unable to work due to an extended illness or injury.  if you become totally disabled and unable to work for 90 days, the plan will pay you 60% of your pay - with a minimum benefit of $100 a month and a maximum of $7,500 a month.  Benefits may be reduced if you receive other sources of income or you return to work on light duty.

Short-Term Disability

Available after one year of employment at no cost to you.  After a one week waiting period, benefits are paid for up to 12 weeks at 80 percent of pay and at five years of service, up to 12 weeks at 90 percent of pay.  The disability period is determined by Presley-Reed guidelines based on diagnosis.

Life Insurance Coverage

Basic Life Insurance - Presbyterian automatically pays for this coverage for all benefit-eligible employees at 0.45 FTE and above. You receive coverage equal to 1x your annual base salary ($750,000 maximum).

Supplemental Life Insurance - If you want more coverage than the basic life insurance plan provides, you may purchase Supplemental Life Insurance for yourself, your spouse, and/or your dependents.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) -This optional benefit pays your beneficiary if you die in an accident or if you lose an eye or limb in a serious accident.
