The Children's Center's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is staffed 24 hours a day by pediatric intensivists expert in caring for children with critical injuries or illness.  Our elite team includes certified pediatric intensive care nurses, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, pulmonologists, endocrinologists and respiratory therapists, plus a variety of pediatric surgeons including general, cardiovascular, plastic, ENT and neurosurgery.

• Specialized PICU nursing and respiratory therapist

  Nearly 50% of our PICU patients come from outside the Albuquerque area.  Transport services are available via air or ground services
