Presbyterian Insurance Company's individual plans are a great fit for individuals whose employer doesn't offer health coverage, or for families who want to purchase coverage for their children, from toddlers and teens to college-age dependents.
These plans offer you the flexibility to visit the providers of your choice, including Presbyterian doctors and facilities. They also offer several different deductible and co-insurance levels, so you can choose the plan that's right for you.

Members of Presbyterian Insurance Company's individual plans can take advantage of additional value-added benefits for chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, and more. Some individual plans also offer two Maternity Rider choices, with benefits providing prenatal care, delivery, and post-partum care coverage.
PresMetro
The PresMetro plans offer an innovative new option for residents living in the four-county Albuquerque metro area (Bernalillo, Valencia, Sandoval, and Torrance, including Edgewood). Benefit highlights include:
- Built-in preventive dental and vision services underwritten and administered by Delta Dental Plan of New Mexico, Inc. and Vision Service Plan Insurance Company
- Five annual calendar year deductibles to choose from
- Three pharmacy benefit options to choose from (standard pharmacy, generic only, or no pharmacy)
- Up to a $100 unique reimbursement per family for services, such as; dental treatments and routine vision care, disease management classes, alternative therapies (yoga, massage therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic care) and non-covered prescription drug costs
- Unlimited Preventive Care covered at 100%, including diagnostic, x-ray, and lab work
- Emergency Room (ER) visits are a flat $150 copay (includes all ER services)
- A $7 copay for convenient Web-based physician visits through Pres e-Care

Advantage Care
The Advantage Care plans are qualified High Deductible Health Plans that can be used with a member-owned, portable Health Savings Account (HSA), a savings option that may provide you with tax advantages. For added convenience, Presbyterian has partnered with Wells Fargo to assist you in opening an HSA account. In addition, the Advantage Care plans provide two pharmacy benefit options: 1) Prescription coverage built into the medical plan, or 2) Plans without pharmacy benefits built-in.
