Premium Assistance for Kids (PAK)

Presbyterian Health Plan participates in the Premium Assistance for Kids (PAK) program in conjunction with Insure New Mexico!, a division of the New Mexico Human Services Department. This program helps families purchase comprehensive health coverage for their uninsured children. In this state-funded initiative, the state pays a percentage of the monthly premium for a comprehensive health plan for children who qualify. The parent or guardian pays the remaining monthly premium. Eligible children are enrolled in Presbyterian Insurance Company, Inc.'s PresSolo Individual Plan with a $500 deductible.
To qualify for this program, children must be:
- Under age 12
- Under age 18 if child has a sibling under age 12
- Not eligible for Medicaid due to amount of income; and
- Do not have any other healthcare coverage
How to apply
Contact the Insure New Mexico! Solutions Call Center at (888) 997-2583 to complete an application or visit the official PAK website.
