Wacky Waffle Stacks

Start the morning right.

Ingredients:

  • 3 round frozen toaster waffles
  • ¼ cup plain or strawberry-flavored soft cream cheese
  • 1½ Tablespoons strawberry preserves or fruit spread
  • 1 medium banana, sliced, or 6 strawberries, sliced
  • 4 whole strawberries, if desired for garnish

Directions:

  1. Toast waffles according to package directions.
  2. Place 1 waffle on plate.
  3. Spread with 2 Tablespoons cream cheese and one-half of the preserves.
  4. Arrange one-half of the sliced fruit on top.
  5. Top with another waffle; repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  6. Top with remaining waffle. 
  7. Cut waffle stack into quarters.
  8. Garnish each quarter with one whole strawberry.
  9. Serve immediately.
