Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh sliced strawberries
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups nonfat vanilla yogurt

Instructions:

  1. Choose see-through glasses for the dessert.
  2. Layer fruit, then yogurt. Alternate fruit.
  3. Place a dollop of yogurt on top with a whole strawberry for garnish.
  4. Other fruits work great as well, so experiment and mix and match. Others to try include:
    • bananas
    • kiwis
    • mandarin oranges
    • fresh peaches.

Using lemon and other fruit flavored yogurts also adds variety.
