Chuckwagon Slaw

Ingredients:
- 1 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 carrots, shredded
- 6 green onions, thinly sliced with most of green end remaining
- ½ green bell pepper, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon ground celery seed
- 3 Tablespoons white vinegar
- 6 Tablespoons mild to medium picante sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Dash of white pepper
- Dash of salt, optional
Directions:

Combine cabbage, carrots, onions and bell pepper in large bowl.

To make dressing, combine ground celery seed, vinegar, picante sauce, sugar, pepper, and salt if used, in a small bowl.

Mix until sugar is dissolved.

Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss until well coated.

Cover and store in refrigerate for at least four hours before serving.
Yield: 6 2/3 cups
