Happy Trails Mix

Trail mix is good with yogurt and fruit salads or alone as a snack. Trail mixes are perfect for hikers, bikers, or snacking after school, at a ballgame, or on a road trip.

Ingredients:

  • Chopped dried fruit: apples, cranberries, apricots, raisins, dates, pineapple, or peaches
  • Granola, whole grain cereals, mini pretzels, popcorn
  • Chopped nuts, unsalted peanuts, cashews, walnuts, almonds, or macadamia nuts
  • Sunflower or pumpkin seeds

Directions:

  1. Make your own special trail mix by mixing desired amounts of the suggestions above or your own favorite ingredients. Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container.
  2. Pack in small plastic bags for easy carrying.
