Happy Trails Mix

Trail mix is good with yogurt and fruit salads or alone as a snack. Trail mixes are perfect for hikers, bikers, or snacking after school, at a ballgame, or on a road trip.
Ingredients:
- Chopped dried fruit: apples, cranberries, apricots, raisins, dates, pineapple, or peaches
- Granola, whole grain cereals, mini pretzels, popcorn
- Chopped nuts, unsalted peanuts, cashews, walnuts, almonds, or macadamia nuts
- Sunflower or pumpkin seeds
Directions:
- Make your own special trail mix by mixing desired amounts of the suggestions above or your own favorite ingredients. Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container.
- Pack in small plastic bags for easy carrying.
** Warning: Small objects can cause choking in children under four.
