Warm Cranberry Compote

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen
  • 3 cups pineapple chunks, cut in half
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan
  2. Bring mixture to a boil and cook just until the cranberries begin to pop, stirring frequently
  3. Cool slightly
  4. Spoon into bowls and top with frozen yogurt, if desired
