Low-Fat Chunky Banana Spread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fat free cream cheese, softened
  • 6 Dole® ripe bananas, peeled and coarsely mashed
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 2¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • Garnish (optional) toasted chopped almonds, chopped dried apricots or sliced banana
  • 24-48 toasted bagels or crackers

Directions:

  1. Mix together cream cheese, bananas and lemon juice until blended
  2. Stir in apricots, cinnamon and ginger
  3. Garnish if desired
  4. Serve with toasted bagels or crackers

Serves 24 servings or 6 cups
