Moms To Be

Blankets. Diapers. Bottles. Coos. Changes to your lifestyle—and to your body. Now, more than ever, it's time to take care of yourself. And the ones who love you wouldn't have it any other way.
We welcome the opportunity to help you prepare for the birth of your child. Whether you are looking for the perfect hospital to deliver your baby, a childbirth class and classes for siblings, or you want a book on pregnancy, The Women's Center at Presbyterian is here for you. Our prenatal education program offers classes to meet the varying needs of parents throughout pregnancy, birth and the early parenting experience.
...And After the Baby Arrives
Presbyterian's Mother/Baby Follow-up Program provides continuity of care. Care is provided through clinic visits as well as telephone follow-up. Home visits can also be arranged. Nurses in the program are specially trained in assisting new mothers in caring for and feeding their new babies. This contact benefits new families by providing early detection of jaundice, infections and breastfeeding problems.
