Dr. Baskin graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1969 and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in 1976.

Dr. Baskin has been in practice in Albuquerque since 1978. Dr. Baskin is in solo practice and participates in a very small call group, so his patients are given much individual attention.

Dr. Baskin does obstetrics and general gynecology, which includes major surgery, minimally invasive surgery, menopause management, and non-surgical treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding. His primary interest is obstetrics, and new patients are seen promptly and evaluated thoroughly. Obstetrical ultrasounds are done in his office, so that patients do not have to go elsewhere. Blood for laboratory testing is also drawn in the office, saving patients a trip to the laboratory. Dr. Baskin feels that the small office approach is the best and safest way to practice obstetrics, since patients are given individual attention.

Lee Caperton, MD received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center where he also completed both his Internship and Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He was then awarded a three-year Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas. Upon completion of his Fellowship, Dr. Caperton accepted a Faculty position at the University of Texas where he was actively involved in patient care, Resident and sub-specialty Fellow education, and research.

Dr. Caperton is an expert in the treatment of Infertility and Reproductive Endocrine disorders from both a non-invasive and surgical perspective. Kristen Ostrem is both a Certified Nurse Midwife and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and received her Masters in Nursing from the University of New Mexico. Dr. Thompson is a Board Certified Obstetrician/ Gynecologist who has been subspecialty fellowship trained in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
