Pregnancy

Blankets. Diapers. Bottles. Coos. Changes to your lifestyle -- and to your body. Now, more than ever, it's time to take care of yourself. And the ones you love wouldn't have it any other way.

More babies are born at Presbyterian Hospital than in any other hospital in New Mexico.

Parents Email OfferWe welcome the opportunity to help you prepare for the birth of your child. Whether you are looking for the perfect hospital to deliver your baby, a childbirth class or classes for siblings, the Presbyterian Women's Center is here for you. Our prenatal education program offers classes to meet the needs of parents throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early parenting experience.

After Your Baby Arrives

Presbyterian's Mother/Baby Follow-up Program provides follow-up care after your baby arrives. Care is provided through clinic visits as well as telephone follow-up. Home visits can also be arranged. Nurses in the program are specially trained to assist new mothers with caring for and feeding their new babies. This contact benefits new families by providing early detection of jaundice and infections and help with breastfeeding.
