Oncology

Oncology is the specialty that studies, diagnoses and treats cancer.  Medical oncologists treat cancers with medication and chemotherapy; surgical oncologists use surgery to remove tumors; and radiation oncologists treat the various cancers using a type of radiation x-ray.
