ALBUQUERQUE, NM – For the second consecutive year, Presbyterian Healthcare Services has been recognized as a Most Wired system in the 17th annual Health Care’s Most Wired Survey conducted by Hospitals & Health Networks.
This year, 741 hospitals and health systems completed the survey, representing more than 2,213 hospitals nationwide. Only 338 organizations were designated as Most Wired, down 10 percent from last year due to additional requirements related to meaningful use Stage 2.
“We are proud to receive the Most Wired award for the second year in a row,” said Lee Marley, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Presbyterian Healthcare Services. “This award demonstrates our commitment to technology that allows us to provide quality care to our patients and improve patient outcomes.”
The Most Wired list is based on the Most Wired Survey, which sets specific requirements in four areas: infrastructure; business and administrative management; clinical quality and safety; and clinical integration. Organizations must meet all requirements in each area to make the Most Wired list.
