New Child and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit Open House

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Presbyterian is pleased to announce the opening of its newly remodeled Child and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), four million children and adolescents in the United States suffer from a serious behavioral health issue that causes significant functional impairments at home, school and with peers. This remodel represents a $1.2 million investment in caring for these individuals.

The new unit includes 15 inpatient beds in private rooms, an intensive treatment area, renovated recreation room and playground, and two therapeutic courtyards.
