29th Annual Presbyterian Daffodil Days to Benefit Presbyterian Home Healthcare and Hospice Patients

Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation will hold its 29th annual Daffodil Days, presented by Bank of Albuquerque, on March 22-23. More than 500 community volunteers will sell in excess of 160,000 daffodils over these two days throughout the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho areas. Proceeds from the sales benefit Presbyterian Home Healthcare and Hospice Program, which provides ongoing support to patients in need of basic necessities such as food, medication, funeral expenses and utility payments.

Today, March 20, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. members of the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation board and volunteers will prepare and package thousands of daffodils at 6806 Academy Parkway East, Bldg. A-6. Please call Niki Allcorn at 505-923-6535 to arrange a time to cover the preparations.

Friday and Saturday sales sites include Bank of Albuquerque, US Bank, Flying Star, La Montanita Co-op, Presbyterian Hospital, Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital, Presbyterian Northside, Presbyterian Healthplex, Presbyterian Rust Medical Center, Presbyterian High Resort, Satellite Coffee, Walgreens, Weems Gallery and Whole Foods. Arrangements of 20 daffodils, baby’s breath, greens and ribbon in a vase will sell for $25, a standard arrangement of 10 daffodils with baby’s breath, greens and ribbon in a vase for $15 and a bunch of 10 daffodils for $6.
