Student Internships

Healthcare Paid Summer Internships

This is an exciting opportunity for students to explore careers in healthcare during a six-week paid summer internship. High school graduating seniors and college-level students are selected to participate in this program. Selected students are provided with the opportunity to rotate through a variety of departments and will observe healthcare professionals in clinical, nursing and support areas which make up the healthcare delivery system. The goal of the program is to educate students about the complexities of a healthcare delivery system and the many jobs that are available within these settings.

The application period is now closed. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance to the program by the end of April 2019.

The 2020 Summer Internship application will begin on February 1, 2020.

Our appreciation goes to the generous support of the Lincoln County Medical Center Auxiliary and the Plains Regional Medical Center Foundation for its funding of these programs.
