Cardiac Rehabilitation

This program helps patients who have recently been diagnosed with cardiac or pulmonary disease, patients who have been living with a condition for years, and people who are trying to prevent disease. Presbyterian offers medically supervised fitness and cardiac rehabilitation centers to help you in your efforts to achieve safe, effective workouts. Education also plays an essential role in our program, one-on-one or in groups. You learn about nutrition, behavior modification and risk reduction.

If you are interested in participating in Presbyterian’s Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, you must first obtain physician approval, and then contact us to schedule an interview with a member of our trained staff. We review your medical history and stress test results so we can customize a cardiac rehabilitation program to address your needs. In many cases, the program may be covered by health insurance.
