Vaccination Requirement for Employees

Vaccination of Presbyterian workforce is essential in our efforts to reduce the spread of COVID and influenza among patients, visitors, and workers in Presbyterian facilities.

Employee Requirements

If you receive a monovalent COVID vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna or Novavax), AND Influenza vaccine after September 12, 2023, you would be considered vaccinated for the current season. Please use the COVID and FLU application in PresNet to document your status.

New Hire Requirements

Please use the forms found in your onboarding packet to report your vaccine status and bring this documentation to your new hire appointment.

Declinations

All Presbyterian workforce who decline to receive the influenza vaccine and/or COVID vaccine are required to wear surgical masks during the respiratory season when physically present in any patient care area. Masks will be provided by Presbyterian and will be readily available. Failure to comply with this policy may result in corrective action.

How to Get a Vaccine

You can register to receive your vaccine through the New Mexico Department of Health vaccine registration site. Or you can schedule directly with many pharmacies in New Mexico.
