Application Process FAQs
All applications are online You can search positions by keywords or scroll through the postings. Once you have identified a position you are qualified for and interests you, create a profile and complete the application.
Yes. We encourage you to apply for all positions that interest you and for which you meet the minimum qualifications.
After submitting an online application, your application will be reviewed for minimum qualifications. If minimum qualifications are met and you are selected, a recruiter will contact you with next steps.
Application Status FAQs
You can check your status of your application by logging into your profile. However, if you meet the qualifications and are selected to move forward in the process, a recruiter will contact you to schedule an interview.
If you are selected for an interview, you will receive communication from a recruiter by email or phone. Candidates who are not selected for an interview or the position will receive communication via email.
Your application is valid until the position that you have applied for is filled. You can always reapply when another position becomes available.

Job Closed – a friend or Presbyterian employee referred you to a job that has been closed before you could get an application in.

Referred – an application has not been completed or submitted, a friend or Presbyterian employee referred you to a job. If you are interested, submit an application.

Incomplete – your application is missing some information; click “Continue Application” to finish your application. If you are no longer interested in that role, click “Withdraw.”

Application Received – your application has been submitted successfully.

Application Under Review – our recruitment team has received your application and they are reviewing your experience.

In Consideration – your resume is being reviewed with other qualified candidates. If the hiring team is interested, you may receive a call to start the interview process.

Considering – A recruiter or hiring manager has reached out to request a phone screen or internal interview.

Phone Screen Complete – you have completed a phone screen with the recruiter or hiring manager.

Recruiter Left Message – a recruiter has reached out for additional information, you should have a voicemail to call back.

Accepted – Congratulations, you have been offered the job but still need to complete further pre-hire steps.

Hired – You have been selected for the position.

Not Selected – You were not selected for the position. We encourage you to check our careers page for other opportunities.

Hiring and Interviewing During COVID-19
Yes. We are still actively recruiting and hiring for posted positions. As a healthcare organization, we need nurses and other caregivers more than ever and we encourage you to apply.

Yes. We are still interviewing through phone screenings and online video conferences such as Skype and Zoom. If you are contacted for an interview, you will be given directions on how to attend your interview.
No. Due to restricted access within our facilities at this time we are unable to offer a job shadow opportunity.
Every open position is being assessed at this time. If the position you applied for is closed or placed on hold, you will be notified by email.
Your start date is dependent on the position for which you applied, and you will receive instructions from a recruiter when offered the position. However, there may be some delays as background checks are taking longer than usual due to local government and business closures.
Almost all people in non-clinical roles are working from home right now. People in clinical positions are still caring for patients at the clinics and hospital facilities. If you accept a non-clinical position, you will be provided with instruction regarding remote work from the hiring manager. You are encouraged to ask the hiring manager in the interview how their department is working through COVID-19.
Yes. New employee orientations and trainings are being held virtually. You will receive directions with how to log on once you accept your offer and receive your start date.
Yes. All Presbyterian employees, clinicians, members of the medical staff, contractors and volunteers are required to get vaccinated. Medical or religious exemption forms are available through Talent Acquisition, please contact your recruiter.
