Neurosurgery at Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center provides surgical and non-surgical care and management of the nervous systems, including related bony support structures and blood supply, including:
Decompression of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine for disc herniations or spinal (bony) degeneration
Fusion of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine for nerve decompression, scoliosis or kyphosis, or to treat certain types of injuries
Microsurgical resection of spinal tumors (benign and malignant)
Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) to treat damaged cervical discs
Anterior lumbar interbody fusion (ALIF) surgery for conditions like degenerative disc disease or spondylolisthesis.
