Swing Bed Program
The swing bed program provides structured, multi-disciplinary care to help you heal and strengthen before going home from the hospital. A “swing bed” is used when a hospital is able to use the same bed for either immediate hospital care or skilled nursing care. Thus, the bed “swings” between the two levels of care.
