Clinical Rotations

The Medical Education Department manages clinical rotations for future physicians, physician assistants (PAs), and nurses with prescriptive authority. Presbyterian welcomes residents and medical students in any year of their education.

Presbyterian has contracts with many institutions, covering a variety of degree programs including: MD, DO, DPM, PA, CNM, FNP, and DNP. Residents and students must be currently enrolled in an accredited program, be in good academic standing, and be attending an institution with which Presbyterian has a current affiliation agreement.

4 Steps for Obtaining a Presbyterian Rotation

  1. Confirm with your institution that an affiliation agreement is in place
  2. Identify and secure a preceptor
  3. Complete the following training material:
  4. Complete all required paperwork and submit to the Medical Education Department at least 30 days prior to your start date
  5. New students and residents must submit: Returning students and residents must submit:
    • An updated letter of good standing
    • Update any documentation that is over one year old
