Since our founding in 1908, Presbyterian has remained focused on improving the health of our fellow New Mexicans. We’ve demonstrated this commitment through the years in varying ways - from building new hospitals and clinics to introducing health plan options. We’re now taking our next step to serving the state our 13,000-strong workforce calls home.
In careful evaluation with our community board, we’ve agreed to explore the formation of a new healthcare organization with UnityPoint Health. By exploring the formation of a new healthcare organization, our goal is to create sustainable solutions that make healthcare easier and more affordable for you while providing support for our amazing team. There is no timeline set for this news as we will spend the coming weeks and months evaluating the path ahead.
While a new organization can address operational efficiencies, what it doesn’t change is Presbyterian’s deep commitment to serving New Mexico with care and coverage.
Please know there will be no changes for patients or members as we will continue to serve your needs as Presbyterian. Your doctor, clinic and coverage remain the same.
Thank you for allowing Presbyterian to serve you and we look forward to serving New Mexico for generations to come.
