A Presbyterian Medical Group care team can assist you with minor illnesses and injuries such as coughs, flu, sinus infections, rashes, fevers, small cuts, and more.
With scheduled urgent care video appointments, you will have access to a provider in real time, similar to an in-person office visit. Video appointments allow you to talk with a provider about your health condition or concerns and get a treatment plan more immediately.
What should I expect during an urgent care video appointment?
We want to make getting care simple and easy.
When you select "Request a video appointment," you will be given the option to log into your Presbyterian MyChart account or to create an account.
Once you log into MyChart, you will immediately be able to request an Urgent Care video appointment or choose to be placed into an on-demand queue for the next available provider.
You must complete eCheck-In to enable the Join Video button. Instructions will be provided.
Following the visit, you will receive a copy of your After Visit Summary with care instructions.

Urgent Care Video Appointments FAQs
What are the computer requirements?
For a video appointment, you will need a device that has a camera and audio capabilities. This can include a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
How can I test my device?
Before your visit, check your device using our compatibility tool.
If you believe your condition will require a physical exam, we recommend that you schedule an in-person urgent care appointment.
If our urgent care provider determines that you should come in to be seen, we’ll help you schedule an in-person appointment, so you get care as soon as possible.
What if I need labs or X-rays?
We offer walk-in X-ray services in many of our Presbyterian Medical Group clinic locations. TriCore Reference Laboratories also provides blood collection and specimen collection services in many locations throughout the Albuquerque / Rio Rancho metro area, including in several of our clinics. The provider will help you identify a location close to you.
What if I have technical issues?
If you need assistance, please call Technical Service at (505) 923-5590 or 1-866-861-7444, 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Can I use urgent care video appointments for a dependent?
Patients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present during their urgent care video appointment unless they are being seen for a diagnosis that does not require parental consent for treatment. Screenings and treatment that do not require parental consent are HIV testing, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy and family planning and some types of behavioral health counseling.
Can I use urgent care video appointments if I am not in New Mexico?
If you are currently traveling or living outside of the state, our urgent care providers will be unable to treat you during a video appointment. At this time, our providers are only licensed to practice medicine in New Mexico.
How are urgent care video appointments different from Online Visits?
With urgent care video appointments, you will have access to a provider in real time, similar to an in-person office visit. Video visits allow you to talk with a provider about your health condition or concerns and get a treatment plan more immediately.
