Presbyterian Medical Group has hired two orthopedic surgeons who previously practiced at Nexus Health, helping support continued access to orthopedic care in Santa Fe following the practice’s recent closure.
“We know Nexus Health’s closure has affected many patients, and we want to help maintain access to essential services,” said Callie Miller, Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical
Center hospital chief executive. “These experienced surgeons have strong ties to the community, and we’re grateful they’re joining Presbyterian to continue caring for patients.”
Dr. Luke Bulthuis and Dr. John Garcia will begin seeing patients on January 5 at Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center.
Presbyterian remains committed to strengthening the local healthcare workforce and ensuring patients in northern New Mexico can receive high-quality care close to home.
