Virtual Medication Management
Virtual Medication Management provides an initial consultation, diagnosis, and medication treatment for behavioral health conditions from wherever you are in New Mexico. Patients are seen by licensed psychiatrists with prescribing authority.

Adult personality and behavior disorders
Anxiety
Psychiatric conditions
Emotional and mood disorders
Nonpsychotic mental disorders
Stress-related mental disorders
If a controlled substance medication is recommended, you will be referred to in-person care. There are times when Virtual Medication Management should not be used. Learn more about when not to use Virtual Care
How it Works
Sign In: Log into your MyChart account. If you don’t have one, you will need to create one.
Select Your Appointment: Follow the steps to schedule an appointment.
Check Your Email: After scheduling, you will receive an email with confirmation and instructions. You will also receive reminders prior to your appointment.
Complete eCheck-In: Complete this before your appointment to access the video link.
Join the Video Call: A few minutes before your appointment, log into MyChart, find your appointment, and click the Join Video link. You will wait in a virtual waiting room until your provider joins. Note: If you have not completed eCheck-In you will not be able to join the video call.
Virtual Medication Management uses Presbyterian Medical Group care team members.
Accepted Insurances and Cost
*Presbyterian Virtual Medication Management accepts most major insurance. Charges related to telehealth services are determined by your insurance plan. Please check with your health insurer if you have any questions.
