MAZE Procedure

The Maze procedure is a procedure used to treat atrial fibrillation, an irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia). This condition may lead to blood clots. The Maze procedure uses ablation (the purposeful destruction of a specific portion of the heart muscle) to correct your irregular heartbeat.
