Neurology

Neurology is a medical specialty that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders in the nervous system. These include the brain, muscles and nerves. Some of the conditions our neurologists see patients for include strokes, headaches, seizure disorders and epilepsy. Our neurologists are part of our multi-disciplinary Neuroscience team.

Services / Conditions Treated

  • Epilepsy and seizure disorders

  • Headaches, migraines and facial pain

  • Memory disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and dementia

  • Movement disorders, including essential tremor, dystonia, tics, and Parkinson’s disease

  • Muscle weakness and/or muscle loss, including muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis

  • Stroke diagnosis and treatment in our accredited stroke center

Treatments / Tests Performed

  • Treatment plans for neurologic conditions including dementia and memory disorders, movement disorders, muscle weakness and pain or weakness from nerve damage

  • Headache diagnosis and treatments

  • Stroke diagnosis, management and treatment for ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke
