Gynecology (GYN)

Gynecology is a specialty that focuses on women’s health and reproductive organs at any age. Gynecologists, including certified nurse practitioners and certified nurse midwives, can see you for an annual well-woman exam, and can also diagnose and treat pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, or urinary/bladder problems. They can perform different types of tests such as screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), pregnancy tests or menopause.

Our team also offers minimally-invasive gynecological surgery, including robotic surgery using the da Vinci surgical system. Laparoscopic and robotic surgery typically create smaller incisions, cause less scarring and help with shorter recovery times, including time in the hospital. This includes surgery on the uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes.
