Coming Soon: MyChart Login Changes
Beginning November 3, 2026, MyChart will move to a new, direct sign-in experience and will no longer share a password with myPRES. The FAQs below explain what to expect and how to create a new MyChart password the first time you sign in on or after November 3.
What is changing?
Beginning November 3, 2026, MyChart will be managed separately and myPRES will no longer use the same password.
What will stay the same?
Your appointments, messages, medical records, and other health information in MyChart will not change.
Your MyChart username will not change.
Your myPRES username and password will not change. You will continue to use myPRES to access your Presbyterian Health Plan information.
Do I need to do anything before November 3?
No, it is not required that you do anything. However, it is recommended to verify that your email address and phone numbers are accurate in your MyChart account.
Using a web browser or the mobile app:
Open the MyChart app or visit https://mychart.phs.org/mychart/ in your web browser.
Go to the Menu and scroll down to Settings. Then choose Personal Information.
Review your email address and phone number listed in the Contact Information box. If you need to edit this information, select Edit and make your changes. Be sure to Save Changes when you are finished.
If you have not updated your account with 2-factor authentication, you will be prompted to “Verify” either by email or text message. Follow the prompts to verify, and then you can update your Personal Information using the instructions as above.
What do I need to do when I first login on or after November 3?
The first time you sign in to MyChart on or after November 3:
Sign in to MyChart
On the sign-in page, click “Forgot Login Info” (to the right of the sign-in box) and follow the steps to create a new MyChart password. If you select “Continue to MyChart” instead, you will need to repeat these steps the next time you sign in to create a new MyChart password.
Complete the identity verification steps when prompted.
Select “Change password” and create your new MyChart password.
If you previously bookmarked a MyChart link through myPRES, replace it with the direct MyChart sign-in page.
If your browser or password manager automatically enters your previous password, update or remove the saved MyChart password and try again.
What should I expect after my first sign-in on or after November 3?
Use your new MyChart password to sign in to MyChart.
Continue using your existing myPRES password to sign in to myPRES.
Future MyChart password changes will be completed directly through MyChart.
